Whose Dog, Elephant, or Goldfish Was Put To Sleep for $2870?

When Elmer Leroy Jr. offered to help me set up a blog, I didn’t know what that was. I thought that maybe it was a Classic Party (Supplies), on which the Governor spent $5,969.50 in one year.

Then he explained how information concerning “Corruption in the Commonwealth” would be widely read and even the Eskimos at the South Pole would receive it, so here it is.

As the Washington Post has printed, Virginia is the most corrupt state in the nation. So I will start with the Attorney General. When he took office in January 2022, the first thing he did was to give his employees airline tickets to anywhere they wanted to go in the U.S. on “business.” But in his infinite compassion, every traveler was issued a ticket for a companion to keep him or her company, much like a “comfort animal.” Often the tickets were first class, and why not? The bill was paid by the taxpayers.

But in my praise for him, I must not leave out his compassion for non-human animals. It was in January 2022 that he paid a veterinary bill for euthanasia and travel that amounted to $2870. They won’t tell me what the animal was. Due to the expense, I assume it was a horse or an elephant, and not a goldfish.

But his assistant has decided that this was a criminal act, and so an investigation was in order. I certainly agree that this was a criminal act, but the catch is that while the investigation is ongoing, no information can be divulged to the public (i.e. you and me). This investigation has been going on for 15 months now. In the meantime, his “protector” has accidentally revealed that she was the one doing the “investigation.” I think the proper legal word for this is the three-letter word “bad.”

Another way to discourage me is to give me excessive bills for documents. Compare 19 pages at $.25 per page plus .3 hour at $7.87 or $12.62 total with my latest bill, which said “Euthanasia Vet bill, $123.60,” all on one sheet of paper. Of course they don’t realize all I have to do is sell one of my hogs. However, it is the principle of the thing so I won’t pay $123 for a one page, five word bill and no documents.

Now he has contrived a false order that prevents me from further investigation. For some reason I was never notified about this order, which the Constitution of Virginia says is the prerequisite to being ordered to do anything by a court.

All of this took place in the first months of his tenure in office. Stay tuned.
