We cannot ignore Justice Kelsey just because he has never filed a voucher that indicated his residence from where all illegal commuting begins. The closest I can determine is her must live in either the basement or the attic of the Supreme Court building in Richmond. However, I am looking forward to bringing his unique style to the attention of the hardworking taxpayer in my blog.
What is interesting is he recorded the most re-imbursement on a single trip when he paid himself $745.88 and spent 25 hours on the road in one day at 55 mph. I must admit that Elmer Joe Jr. pointed out to me that there are only 24 hours in the normal, run-of-the-mill work day.
In addition Justice Kelsey holds the record for the most days in which a justice has traveled 700 or more miles in a single day.
